LetsReg has been a trusted payment provider for over 20 years. The registration system allows customers to provide secure payment to their participants on a daily basis. This year the payment solution has got a fresh new start with Stripe integration. With this change LetsReg is up to date and can continue to provide a secure payment system for years to come. The integration is finished and was launched at the end of September. All new customers will get the new payment solution through Stripe.
LetsReg now supports easy payments via digital wallets
Digital wallets makes it easier to reach new markets
When choosing a new payment solution, it was important for the company to make a sustainable choice.
– The Stripe integration is first of all important because it gives us the opportunity to continue to offer our customers an easy and secure payment solution, and at the same time offer new payment alternatives. But we also had in mind how we easily can expand to new markets, Frode Lervik says.
As CEO, he is always up to date and deeply involved in projects. The integration with Stripe is one of the major projects in 2024.
– Our fullstack-developer David Paarup has been working on this for many months now, so we are happy to see the integration finally finished – and working well, Frode smiles.
Frode is satisfied with the new payment methods and excited to see how the market in the UK will respond to an even simpler and better solution.
– With Stripe payment we can now offer payment through digital wallets, both Apple Pay and Google Pay, along with card providers as Mastercard and Visa. This is a huge benefit for our customers, Frode says.
– And of course it is an advantage when we decide we’re ready for new markets.
A positive change for booking system customers
Switching to a new payment solution also means the old one will be phased out. Most customers are now using Stripe and Managing Director in UK, Roger Birchenough, has overseen the process.
– As a provider of cloud based software, we need to make sure our customers are onboard. Events and bookings are running as usual, so it takes a lot of planning, Roger says.
From their office in Bracknell, they serve about 200 UK customers. Almost everyone is using the payment solution.
– We have managed to make the onboarding for old and new customers quite smooth even though we have to adhere to stricter and stricter AML-regime. And we help our customers onboarding the best way we can, he says.
In November, the old payment system will be turned off, and all customers who still want to offer payment to their participants need to be onboarded to Stripe.
– We are in a good position to get finished before the deadline, Roger says.
– We believe this is a positive offer. Feedback so far indicates that customers are happy to get new payment options. Digital wallets are really popular, Roger smiles.
