In LetsReg, you have access to flexible solutions for refund payments so that you can handle changes in a simple and efficient way. We offer three main options when you need to delete a participant and refund money.
1. Automatic refund
2. Manual refund
3. No refund
Refund all or part of the amount
When you are making a refund, you will be presented with various options, such as sending back a full refund, or withholding part of the payment to cover your fees or other administration costs. This way, you can easily reimburse the participant according to your own sales conditions, directly from the system.
Automatic refund
With automatic refund, you can quickly refund the participant's payment via LetsReg. The participant receives a receipt from LetsReg and will normally see the money returned to their bank within 5-7 working days.
When purchases are refunded automatically, a number of requirements must be met:
1. The purchase must be made by card, and it must not be more than 90 days since the purchase was originally made.
2. You must have enough money available in your organiser account to complete the refund.
Manual refund
If the purchase is over 90 days old, there is no money available in your organiser account, or if the customer has signed up with an invoice, you will carry out a manual refund.
The customer will receive an order confirmation with a link where they can register their account number. In a separate list, you will be given the sum and account number before you manually reimburse the customer via your own online bank before you mark the customer as refunded in LetsReg.
No refund
Select this option if no money is to be returned to the customer. This is common for free registrations or cases where the purchase price is not refunded. The participant receives a confirmation by email that the registration/order has been deleted.

Extend your payout with payout flexibility
With weekly payments from LetsReg, situations may arise where the account balance is not sufficient to cover an automatic refund. In such cases, the flexible payout is a flexible tool.
The flexible payout gives organisers a more flexible way of handling refunds, by extending the amount of time that you will have reserves available for automatic refunds to your participants and customers.
Regardless of which refund method you choose, your participant will be informed by email. If you want a detailed overview of all your refunds, you can find reports under the Administration and Finance accounting menus.
